Nominator's project description
| Professor Dong is well known internationally for his outstanding research in developing new catalytic methods for the activation and subsequent functionalization of inert chemical bonds. His work on C–C bond activation, palladium/norbornene cooperative catalysis and atom-efficient carbonyl functionalization had a high impact on synthetic chemistry. During his stay in Germany, he will explore new synthetic methods by merging boron with radical chemistry. |
